Open House Art Auction and Polo Match In-House Horse Show

DCTTR Open House

DCTTR holds an open house twice every year, once in the spring and again in the fall. Visit us during the DCTTR Open House and meet the DCTTR staff, see the horses, take a free sample lesson and tour the barn and farm property. There will be fun family activities and light refreshements available. Please call 908 735-5912 for dates and information.

Art Auction and Polo Match

The 10th annual art auction is teaming up with last years polo match for a combined event. 25 nationally known artists will have pieces in our silent auction. VIP tickets are $100 and include an exquisite lunch and open bar. Tailgating tents are also available for $250.

The match takes place at Tinicum Park, Bucks County, PA. Come early and have a tailgate party on the sidelines, or sit and watch the match from the general public tent. You can even bring the family dog — on a leash, of course.

Activities include:

"Charlie Chukker" — Adults and children can sit on the metal horse Charlie Chukker to practice swinging a polo mallet and perfect their aim
Divot Stomping — During halftime, everyone can come out on the field and stomp divots, a piece of turf dug up by the horses' hooves
Silent Auction and Raffles — Throughout the day, tickets will be on sale for great silent auction and raffle items

General Admission is $20 per car. There are also sponsorship opportunities available, including VIP tickets, tent level sponsorships, VIP sponsorships and title sponsorships. If you'd like to sponsor the event, or for tickets and information please call the office at 908 735-5912.

DCTTR In-House Horse Show - October 23rd

Each year, DCTTR hosts an In-House Horse Show fundraiser in the Spring and Fall to benefit the therapeutic riding program. Riders are encouraged to collect pledges to participate. All of our riders and volunteers are encouraged to participate and bring their families and friends for a day filled with fun.

There are classes for disabled and able-bodied riders at all riding levels. Ribbons are awarded in each class, with Champion and Reserve awards in both disabled and able-bodied divisions. The day also includes a parent and sibling lead line class, a raffle, scavenger hunt and much more. Food will be available for purchase.
