Spring Clean-up Day May 25
Join us on Sunday, May 25 between 10:00 and 4:00 for the DCTTR Spring Clean-up Day. Bring your garden tools, power tools and elbow grease to help us get the farm looking great for the In-House Horse Show. We'll be working on projects both in and outside the barn such as cleaning, painting and landscaping. Come for an hour or for the whole day. We provide the lunch and you provide the manpower.
DCTTR In-House Horse Show June 1
(Rain Date June 8)
This year, DCTTR will again host an In-House Horse Show fundraiser to benefit the therapeutic riding program. Riders are encouraged to collect pledges to participate. All of our riders and volunteers are encouraged to participate and bring their families and friends for a day filled with fun.
There will be classes for disabled and able-bodied riders at all riding levels. Ribbons will be awarded in each class, with Champion and Reserve awards in both disabled and able-bodied divisions. The day will also include parents and sibling lead line class, a raffle, scavenger hunt and much more. Food will be available for purchase. Tickets will also be available for a chance to win a genuine wooden Bevel tack trunk valued at approximately $1,000 -- the drawing to be held at the Boot Scootin' Boogie on Oct. 11.
Start collecting your pledges now to win great prizes!
This is a major fundraiser for DCTTR. We hope that all of our riders and volunteers will participate. This is a fun way to support the general operations of DCTTR and help keep riding accessible to those in need.
• A prize will be awarded to the particpant that raises the largest amount in contributions. • Participants who raise $100 will receive a t-shirt. • Prizes for every participant raising $300.00 or more.
Riders must sign up with their instructor by May 24 to show. There is a minimum pledge of $65 to enter. No additional fees will be charged to participate in the DCTTR In-House Horse Show. Download the Horse Show Registration and Pledge form here.
